Eastern Gas and Fuel Associates

In 1939, 8 Massachusetts Gas Companies were merged and succeeded by the Eastern Gas and Fuel Associates. In later years other companies were merged with Boston Consolidated Gas. The company also held a variety of mining interests, as well as a steamship division (the former Mystic Steamship Company).
