Located in Paterson, New Jersey, this company was originally known as the Paterson Brewing and Malting Company. The company became the lone brewing company in Paterson in the late 1800s when it purchased the Consolidated Brewing Company and the Hinchliffe Brewing and Malting Company.

The company, run by the Katz brothers, was indicted in 1924 on bribery charges, attempting to illegally obtain a permit to produce real beer during prohibition.NJ-New Jersey Brewery and Alcohol Beer Makers Bird Featured Eagle Featured
