The Albany Packing Company was incorporated in New York in 1923. The company’s plant in Albany introduced a line of meat products known as “First Prize,” which would later come to be known as Tobin’s First Prize Meat Products. The company was known for its fresh and delicious hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage, bacon, cold cuts and more.
