Middlesex & Somerset Traction Company

The Middlesex and Somerset Traction Company was known as the "Interurban Line", or City-to-City trolley line. It appears that it ran from the Trenton area to around Jersey City.

The Brunswick Traction Company (which had earlier acquired the New Brunswick City Railway Company) later became part of Middlesex & Somerset, and ran from Albany Street in New Brunswick down River Road through Piscataway to Bound Brook.

The line later became Public Service's South Amboy Line between New Brunswick and South Amboy.
